The described device for Bandfinishen can be used for superfinishing peripheral surfaces of wave-shaped or rotationally symmetrical workpieces. The invention is based on a device for Bandfinishen with the features described above. According to the invention, the two roll holders are arranged in a cassette and exchangeable through an upper-side opening of the cassette. The roller holders each have a shaft mounted on both ends and a disk fixedly connected to the shaft for lateral delimitation of the wound-up processing belt. The shaft ends of the roller holders engage in lockable bearing recesses of the cassette. Further, the disc of the second roller holder on a sprocket, which is in engagement with a pinion driven by the drive. It is understood that between the pinion and the drive, a gear train and / or a chain drive can be provided for power transmission. The inventive device is designed as a cassette device. The tape roll can be inserted at the top of the cassette. Accordingly, the empty tube can be taken out with the wound-up processing tape at the top of the cassette. The disc of the second roller holder fulfills a dual function. On the one hand, the disc forms a stop surface for the processing tape wound up into a roll of tape. At the same time, the disc with a circumferentially arranged sprocket is part of a cooperating with the drive gear train and is supported by a pinion, which within the cassette, z. B. in the lower part of the cassette, is stored, directly driven. Due to the inventive design, the device for Bandfinishen is only slightly wider than the bandwidth of the processing belt. Furthermore, the device according to the invention requires no lateral free space for changing the roll of tape and the empty tube.
The disc of the first roller holder preferably also has a ring gear, which is in engagement with a pinion of a braking device. By the braking device, the belt tension of the processing belt is adjustable and changeable. The roll holder for receiving a new roll of tape and for receiving an empty tube may be of identical construction.
Between the shaft of the roll holder and an attachable to the shaft sleeve which forms an empty tube or the core of a roll of tape, a rotationally fixed connection must be made. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the shaft of the roller holder and the attachable to the shaft sleeve are rotatably connected by a radially acting anti-rotation. The rotation lock can work positively or non-positively. In the context of the invention, it is, for example, the shaft of the roll holder and the attachable sleeve with a complementary profile form, which allows a connector and causes a positive connection in the direction of rotation. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the shaft of the roller holder on the periphery projecting, flexible spreading for rotation of a plugged sleeve. This embodiment allows the use of sleeves with a cylindrical inner surface. A particularly effective anti-rotation device, which is effective in both directions of rotation, can be realized by means of a spring plate fastened to the shaft of the roller holder, which protrudes on both sides of the attachment point.
The bearing recesses for the roll holder are arranged in side surfaces of the cassette and have at the edge of the cassette open insertion openings, which are each closed by a strap. The strap closure can be designed as a pivot closure.
Preferably, the drive and the oscillation unit are arranged below the cassette. At this additional rollers can be stored.
The pressure roller is mounted according to a preferred embodiment of the invention on a vibrating head, which is fixed to leaf springs and short-stroke oscillatory movements transversely to the web direction of the processing tape executes. The oscillatory movements can be generated electromagnetically or by an imbalance drive.
The cassette, the oscillation drive and the drive for generating the tape feed form an assembly that can be arranged on a feed carriage. By a z. The device according to the invention can also be used as a top-mounted machine for lathes. In the lathe, the workpieces to be machined are tensioned and driven in rotation during the belt finishing. The strip finishing device can be arranged as a self-contained unit on the tool carriage of such a machine tool.
In the following the invention will be explained with reference to an illustrative only one embodiment drawing. The single figure shows schematically in a perspective view a device for belt finishing, in particular for finish machining of wave-shaped workpieces.
The device shown in the figure comprises a first roll holder 1 for a roll of tape 2, a second roll holder 3 for an empty tube 4, a connected to an oscillating device 5 pressure roller 6 and a drive 7 for generating a tape feed one of the tape roll 2 withdrawn Processing tape 8 on. The drive 7 is in operative connection with the second roller holder 3 and drives it. The disc 12 of the second roller holder 3 has a ring gear 16 which is in engagement with a pinion 17 driven by the drive 7. The disc 12 of the first roller holder 1 also has a sprocket 16 ', which cooperates with a pinion of a braking device 18. Preferably, the roll holder 1, 3 are of identical construction.
The shaft 11, 11 'of the roll holder 1, 3 and the attachable to the shaft empty tube 4 and the attachable to the shaft core of the tape roll 2 are rotatably connected by a radially acting anti-rotation. The rotation lock may consist of circumferentially protruding, flexible spreading elements which are fixed to the shaft of the roll holder. A preferred embodiment provides that on the shaft of the roller holder a spring plate is fixed, which protrudes on both sides of the attachment point.
The drive 7 and the oscillation device 5 are arranged below the cassette 9, wherein they do not project on the sides of the cassette. The pressure roller 6 is mounted on a swinging head 19, which is attached to leaf springs 20 and performs short-stroke oscillatory movements transversely to the web direction of the processing belt 8.
The cassette 9, the oscillation device 5 and the drive 7 for the tape feed form an assembly which is arranged on a feed carriage 21. The feed carriage 21 is adjustable for example by a pneumatic drive 22 or a linear drive. By means of the pneumatic drive 22, the contact pressure between the processing belt and the workpiece surface can be adjusted and varied.
The device shown in the figure is particularly suitable as a topping machine for lathes.
